At Cornerstone Place, our mission is simple: to ensure that everyone has access to quality housing, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Councillor Danny Meredith (Portfolio Holder for Housing), Councillor Rachel Massey (Portfolio Holder for Children’s Services and Education), and representatives from Rochdale Borough Council, Hannah Courtney-Adamson and Stuart Morris, to visit our four mid-development sites in Rochdale. These projects are dedicated to providing much-needed housing particularly for young people in the area.
David Ball gave our guests a firsthand look at the progress being made. With all four projects on track for completion between May and October this year, we are one step closer to ensuring that more young people in Rochdale will soon have access to safe, warm, and high-quality homes.
A key highlight of these new developments is their commitment to sustainability. Our visitors were particularly pleased to see that the homes will be ‘net zero’, featuring solar panels and air source heat pumps. These energy-efficient solutions not only benefit the environment but also help reduce long-term running costs, ensuring financial sustainability for both residents and the wider community.
We look forward to welcoming our guests back in the coming weeks to see how the projects continue to take shape. Stay tuned for further updates!
