We had a fantastic evening at the Northern Housing Awards last night at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.
Cornerstone Place was honoured to be shortlisted in three categories:
• Best Initiative for Tackling Homelessness (with Stepping Stone Projects)
• SME of the Year
• Northern Housing Partnership of the Year (with Rochdale Borough Council)
Although we didn’t take home a trophy this time, we’d like to extend our warmest congratulations to the winners in each of these categories:
Light for Life Sefton Ltd, A Slater & Son, and HENNE – Housing Employment Network North East. Your innovation and impact are truly inspiring.
It was a real privilege to be recognised alongside so many organisations working tirelessly to improve housing outcomes and tackle homelessness across the North.
We also had the pleasure of sharing our table with some wonderful partners and collaborators:
Albert Margai and Brooke Jones from Rochdale Borough Council,
Liz Varey and Sharon Brady from Stepping Stone Projects,
and Tess Ash and Hayley Stockham from Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.
Thank you all for the fantastic company, insight, and conversation throughout the evening.
Nights like this remind us of the importance of collaboration, and just how much passion and progress is driving this sector forward. We’re proud to be part of that journey.
