Attending the Housing 2024 conference was great again this year. The event gathered industry experts, policymakers, and innovators, focused on addressing the urgent need for more affordable and sustainable housing solutions.
Post Election Housing Policies
There is a shared hope that the new government will prioritise housing and implement policies that support the development of more affordable homes. We will no doubt be part of making this a reality.
Collaboration was a recurring theme. Sessions on innovative building technologies, sustainable development practices, and evolving policy frameworks provided valuable insights and connections. We of course aim to create high-quality homes that not only meet the immediate needs of communities and people in housing need but also ensure long-term sustainability.
The conversations at Housing 2024 have reinforced our belief in the need for a collaborative approach to tackle housing shortages. By working closely with local authorities, charities, our supply chain and community organisations, we can help accelerate the creation of homes that are both affordable and sustainable.
We are more determined than ever to contribute to a future where everyone has access to a safe, comfortable, and affordable home.
Great to spend time with old and new friends and colleagues particularly Hannah Courtney-Adamson, Kate Markey, Joel Lewis, Martin Bennett, Patrick Grace, Barry Malki, Steve Jackson !
In conclusion, Housing 2024 was great because it created a vibrant platform to learn, collaborate, and advocate for a better housing future. We are optimistic that with continued effort and partnership, we can help create vibrant, sustainable communities that meet the housing needs of all.
