Two of our Rochdale developments are now on the home straight almost ready to open their doors to their first residents.

It’s been inspiring to see these projects take shape. What began as plans on paper are now becoming real homes, warm, safe, high-quality spaces for people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.

If you haven’t seen our earlier updates, these homes are being built in partnership to provide secure, long-term accommodation for people at risk of homelessness. Crucially, both schemes will be retained in public ownership by Rochdale Borough Council, ensuring that these assets stay in the hands of the community, not for short-term profit, but for lasting social value.

Each development has been designed around our Impact First Social Housing principles our commitment to delivering:

  • Sustainably built homes, using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) for quality and efficiency;

  • Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) that promote well-being and recovery; and

  • 0% profit delivery, so that every pound goes towards creating more social value and more homes for those who need them most.

Together, these two schemes will provide 22 new homes, directly helping to reduce reliance on temporary accommodation in Rochdale. Every one of these homes represents not just a roof, but a foundation for dignity, stability, and hope.

We’re proud to be working alongside Rochdale Borough Council and our project partners to make these sites a reality. Their collaboration, courage, and belief in an impact-first approach have turned vision into action.

We can’t wait to share the handover moments soon and to welcome the first residents into homes that truly put people first.
