We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Walsingham Support.

For almost 40 years, Walsingham Support has been empowering autistic people and people with learning disabilities and complex needs across England and Wales. Their approach places the people they support at the heart of everything they do, a philosophy that closely reflects our own values at Cornerstone Place. Through our Impact First Social Housing® model, we ensure that homes are designed around people, not the other way around.

We have been working with Walsingham Support to review part of their property portfolio, including homes they are acquiring as part of a merger. Cornerstone Place has now been commissioned to develop plans for the first of these sites, combining the refurbishment of office space with the potential delivery of new residential units.

The proposed new homes will be built using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), focusing on sustainability, durability, and long-term value. They will also incorporate Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) principles, helping create safe, supportive spaces that maximise the wellbeing and independence of future residents.

At Cornerstone Place, we understand the challenges many charities face in accessing high-quality housing to deliver their essential services. Our aim is to help organisations overcome these barriers and unlock the right properties for the people they support.

We are proud to support Walsingham Support’s mission and look forward to the positive impact this project will bring.

If your organisation is experiencing similar challenges with supported housing provision, we would love to hear from you.
