Cornerstone Place has been shortlisted for the ‘Deal Of The Year’ award from Social Enterprise UK (SEUK).
As many visitors to this website will be aware a social enterprise is an organisation which prioritises social impact above profit for its shareholders. In our case, over 50% of the value we create is gifted to the charities we work with. SEUK is the governing body for the approximately 100,000 social enterprises in the UK.
Across the awards categories there were over 500 applicants and Cornerstone Place is one of six finalists in the ‘Deal Of The Year’ category. This is for our Stamford Villa project in North East Manchester which will eventually provide accommodation for 13 people at risk of homelessness.
The awards ceremony is on Wednesday 8th December, and if we are lucky enough to win we will of course be posting an update here!
